HHYCC in the Tour of Britain

In a finely balanced contest,  HHYCC came, we think, a very creditable third in the GoRide race today before the final stage of the ToB.

A change in the timing for signing on for the ToB riders meant that there was time onlyfor one race off for first and second, so we didn't get a second ride.

The eventual winners, Hillingdon Slipstreamers  B, crashed out in their first timed run, but were given a second bite of the cherry and just pipped the boys and girls in blue to clinch the second fastest run and a place in the final.

Congratulations to the riders: Betty, Theo, Hayden and Freddie, to our helpers and reserves, Josephine, Tim, Holly and Josh,

- and to everyone who came to practices and to cheer the team on today,

- and who brought lovely cakes.
