Red Nose Day 2009

Dear All,

Here is the big list of our riders and the distance they all covered for charity today.

850 km !! that's a lot of kilometres between 56 riders. Well done everyone, I can think of some people who will wake up with very sore legs tomorrow!

For those people with sore or stiff legs, I advise you to have a short ride tomorrow - 10-15 mins at the most - riding slowly in a low, easy gear. And do a full set of stretching, just like we do at the start of each Saturday session. Do this when you wake up, and again before you go to bed.

Thank you to everyone who helped out - we loved all the cakes by Hua Hua, Freddie, Stan and Andrea, all those who helped out with marking out the circuit (Dan Taylor, Ed Hawkins (on Friday evening) and Hua Hua). Thank you as well to our lapscorers, marshals, sign-on staff, shed people, first aid, raffle people (hidden celebrity) and anyone else I can think of. Especially those who made the effort to come in fancy dress - you helped to make it a really fun day!! I can hardly wait for the next one!

At the time of writing this, I have no clue how much we raised for Comic Relief, but please make sure you collect all your sponsorship money as soon as you can and bring it along to us as soon as you can - preferably next Saturday, but if not, then maybe the one after that.
