Herne Hill Youth Cycling Club runs three courses a year with Dulwich College Prep School Parents Association. This Easter we will be running a Gear 2 course and preparing riders for gear 3 activities in the summer.
All children aged over 8 who are on vacation on the following dates are welcome to attend: Wednesday April 1 Thursday April 2 to Friday April 3 from 9.30 - 12.30.
Coaches will be on site 15 minutes before and after the session. You may also book a free 2 hour cycle lesson for the afternoon.
Cost £48 for the 3 mornings or £17 per morning.

The course is delivered by British Cycling accredited coaches and is a fun based course aimed at introducing children to cycling as a sport. It is suitable for improvers and intermediate who have a good range of control skills.
The course has 3 elements:
Skills tests and tasks including using gears, braking, advanced dismounting, slaloms, limbo and bottle pick up.
Mountain bike skills: off road activities including down hill and up hill techniques, cornering and jumping obstacles.
Track skills (weather permitting) Using the banked track on fixed wheel brakeless bikes (provided) including setting off and stopping on the fence, track etiquette, riding in a string and overtaking.
Each child will receive a certificate of achievement as part of the course.
